FULL MANUSCRIPT EVALUATION
The evaluation includes a full read by an editor, who then writes you an overview of the manuscript’s strengths and areas of concern. You’ll know what steps to take to ready your manuscript for publishing.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
We execute a full copyedit and a final proofread on your manuscript to ensure that spelling and grammar mistakes are caught and removed.
BOOK COVER DESIGN
Our designers are quite literally some of the best in the world. Our team has hundreds of covers in their portfolio.
INTERIOR LAYOUT
At Self Publish -N- 30 Days, we take our interiors seriously. Your manuscript isn’t just a drag and drop template—it’s a chance to create a cohesive visual experience for your reader, from the cover to the final page.
DISTRIBUTION AND ROYALTY SET UP
Self Publish -N- 30 Days will set up all accounts in your name on all major platforms, including Amazon and BarnesandNoble.com. This means you will own all your own content and royalties.
EBOOK CREATION AND DISTRIBUTION
Your eBook/Kindle will be available on all major eBook retailers (Amazon, BarnesandNoble.com) in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, India, Japan, Mexico, and Australia. eBooks include all relevant copy tailored to each retailer, including samples, screenshots, and keywords.
PAPERBACK DISTRIBUTION
Self Publish -N- 30 Days will ensure your book will be available in paperback print-on-demand format, distributed through both Amazon’s KDP platform and IngramSpark’s wider distribution channels, which assures that your book is available for purchase by physical retailers (Barnes & Noble) and libraries worldwide.
OPTIONAL HARDCOVER PRINTING & MANAGEMENT
You have the option, at no additional charge, to have a hardcover as well. We will design and lay out the hardcover, and manage all printing and distribution. We can also help you set up fulfillment services with Amazon, if necessary.
COPYRIGHTING AND CATALOGING
Once complete, your manuscript will be registered with the United States copyright office. Your book will also be registered in Bowker’s Books In Print database and will be assigned all ISBN, bar, and BISAC codes necessary for retail distribution.
PUBLISHING IMPRINT
Your book will be eligible to be published under our imprint, Self Publish -N- 30 Days, or it can be published under a custom imprint with a name of your choosing.
AUTHOR PHOTO
A great author photo is a powerful tool. We can recommend a professional photographer to take your headshot. If you already have excellent professional photos, we will happily use them instead.
AUTHOR MARKETING MATERIALS
Our copywriting pros will craft an engaging author bio and book description to ensure your book is interesting and appealing to your ideal readers.
GRAPHIC INCLUSION
We can include up to 25 graphics in your manuscript, which you provide us. Additional graphics can be added for an extra cost.

ADDTIONAL EDITING - CUSTOM QUOTE
Our editing team, who’ve spent decades in book publishing, edited thousands of books, and written several of their own, can offer additional editing services.
In addition to evaluating the structure, the editor reads and carefully edits the manuscript with an eye on the completeness, flow, and construction of ideas and stories, working paragraph by paragraph, and chapter by chapter.
For all of our editing, we share in advance that “we will hurt your feelings before we let you publish a poorly written book.” You will get a fair but honest evaluation of your work and how it can improve so that you can have the best possible book.
AUDIOBOOK - $6,000
Self Publish -N- 30 Days can facilitate the creation and publication of an audiobook version of your book. The audiobook will be recorded by a voice actor at a professional studio and available for purchase on Audible.com, Amazon.com, and iTunes.
BOOK LAUNCH - $15,000
We can work with you to create an end-to-end marketing campaign for your book, that will include publishing content, generating media attention, booking you on podcasts, managing ads, and organizing all the details to ensure your book reaches your target audience and positions you as the authority in your field. How the Publishing Only Process Works
These are the steps we use to publish your book:
Welcome Call with Your Publishing Manager
You will meet your Publishing Manager who will be your main point of contact throughout all aspects of our process. They will guide you through editing and publishing and answer any questions you have.
Manuscript Evaluation
Your manuscript will get a complete overview with global structure and overall manuscript evaluation notes. Your editor will write an editor’s letter detailing all problems or areas of concern, and give expert recommendations for how to make the manuscript the best it can be.
Once you review the recommendations of our Editing team, you’ll work with our team for the duration of the editing process. They will guide you on the next steps to complete before moving into publication.
Begin Publishing
Your Book Concierge will make sure you have all the elements of a locked manuscript necessary to begin publishing:

Cover Design
Everyone says that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but we all do it. As an author, you should absolutely judge your book by its cover, because your audience will.
Cover design starts with our team submitting a resource to obtain your vision. A team member will be available to discuss your book cover; however, we want to get all of your ideas in writing. They will help you refine your thinking and get clear on a few ideas for your cover once you submit the requested information to them.
The team will then develop a series of cover mock-ups. These will be initial concepts so that we can understand your direction more clearly.
You will have the option to schedule a Zoom call to review the designs and understand what you do and do not like about them. Based on your feedback, we’ll iterate on the design until we land on the perfect cover for your book.
Once you love the front cover design, our publishing team will finalize the front cover and a 3D image for promotional material. The spine and back cover, which includes your book description, author biography, and author photo, if you like will be designed at a later time.
Copywriting and Proofreading
Back covers and book descriptions matter! A good book description and author bio are powerful tools. Our Editing team will revise yours to maximize their marketing impact.
We will also copyedit and proofread your manuscript to ensure there are no spelling or grammar errors.
Interior Design
Please do not underestimate the importance of a great interior design. At Self Publish -N- 30 Days we’ve seen many books with great manuscripts and amazing covers that suffered from a horrible interior. Your interior defines the reading experience for your audience.
As with the cover design process, we will walk you through the process every step of the way to create the interior you envision. Your book’s design includes font choices or graphic styling— even the margins, page numbers, and sidebars, which will be blended by our design team with your book’s cover styling to create a cohesive reading experience from start to finish.
Our team will create a prototype that includes the first chapter of content from your manuscript. Once approved, they will finalize the remainder of your manuscript.
Book Production Consult
Our team will get on the phone with you and help determine the exact best way you can ensure your book gets in front of the readers you want. We will help you lay out a step-by-step marketing plan that you can then execute.
As part of this consult, we will also provide you with free access to courses. This includes detailed instructions and templates to help you through every part of your book marketing, including generating media attention, leads, and raising your visibility with potential clients.
Publishing and Distribution of Your Book
Our publishing team will work with you to determine your distribution goals and retail channels—whether you want to be exclusively on Amazon or available on as many international platforms as possible, they will provide the best options for you, handle all account and file creation, and upload your book in preparation for your launch. You’ll also get all of the electronic source files for your book.
